Turn the Flow Control Knob clockwise to decrease the water flow allowed to pass through the valve when opened. To increase the water flow allowed to pass through, turn the Flow Control Knob counterclockwise.
Depending on your specific application and location this may vary. Typically, when using the LevelSmart on a smaller body of water such as a spa, turn the Flow Control Knob clockwise to decrease the water flow and eliminating overfills. When using the LevelSmart on larger bodies of water you can leave the Flow Control Knob all the way open (counter-clockwise) to maximize the water flow.
Remember the Solenoid Knob on the valve should always be in the OFF position to allow the LevelSmart to control the fills. The only time it should be in the on position is if you needing to do a fill manually.

Is the 7 minute fill adjustable?
The fill time of seven minutes is fixed and cannot be adjusted. However, because LevelSmart monitors the water level every 30 minutes, it is capable of adding a substantial amount of water throughout a 24-hour period. This seven-minute fill duration has been intentionally designed to be more than adequate to accommodate any size of water body, ensuring that even large ponds or lakes receive sufficient water without the need for longer fill times.
If you find that the seven-minute fill time is too long for your specific needs, especially when dealing with smaller water bodies, you have the option to use the flow control knob. This knob allows you to decrease the volume of water that passes through the valve during each fill cycle. Adjusting the flow control is particularly recommended for smaller applications such as hot tubs, small ponds, or decorative water features, where a slower fill rate helps prevent overfilling and maintains optimal water levels without waste.
